My Bookshelf - Shoe Dog

This is a memoir of Phil Knight - the founder of Nike. If you are an entrepreneur I think you'll enjoy learning how Phil went from an average kid growing up in Portland to the the world's biggest"Shoe Dog"!

I like how the chapters represent years - so it starts on Chapter "1962" as he describes what he went through in 1962 and progresses to 1980.

I always thought of Nike as a huge company that had been around forever, so it was interesting to see how they progressed in a relatively short amount of time. As a company, they had many situations that could have easily ruined them but they survived - to say the least!

Thanks to my friend Colin McLean for making this suggestion!
