Day 5 is in the books! I've completed all of my CORE Goals for the day - once I complete this blog post of course.

Making Realistic Goals

The next couple of days will be a real test because we are going away for the weekend. Things always seem to be easier when you are on your home turf, so I will have to be extra conscious of making time to achieve my daily goals.

This is why it's important to make your daily goals realistic - you aren't setting goals that can be achieved on a hard day, you're setting goals that can be achieved on a crazy day where things are coming at you and you don't feel like you have control.

If you come home excited that you managed to achieve your CORE Goals you are motivated to continue. If you failed to achieve all of your goals you can become frustrated and may lack motivation to continue.

Nobody is perfect - even if you mess up it's important to cut yourself slack and keep going!
